What is Blooms?

Blooms is a tango-style binary logic puzzle. You fill a grid with bees and blooms so that every row and column holds the same number of each, no three identical symbols stand in a line, and the = and × signs between cells are respected. It belongs to the binairo (takuzu) family.

Is Blooms free?

Yes. The daily board, the archive and unlimited boards are free, with no account and nothing to install.

When does the daily Blooms board change?

Every day at midnight UTC, together with the daily Crowns board. Everyone gets the same board.

Do I ever have to guess?

No. Every board is checked by a solver that works one row or column at a time, exactly as a person does. A board is only published if that solver finishes it, which also guarantees a single solution.

What do the = and × signs mean?

A = sign between two cells means they hold the same symbol. A × sign means they hold different symbols. Every sign on a board is necessary: remove any one of them and the puzzle can no longer be solved by logic.

Can I play more than one board a day?

Yes. Unlimited mode builds a fresh 6×6 or 8×8 board whenever you like, and the link to a board can be sent to a friend to race on the same puzzle.
